Job description We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant with a robust understanding of S/4HANA Finance (Controlling) and proven hands-on experience in ECC to S/4HANA migration. This is a client-facing role requiring expertise in Indian statutory requirements, excellent analytical abilities, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities Lead CO workstreams in Greenfield and Brownfield SAP S/4HANA implementations. Analyze legacy ECC CO configurations and design optimized solutions in S/4HANA. Handle data migration from ECC to S/4HANA for cost centers, internal orders, profit centers, and COPA. Configure & support core CO modules: Cost Center Accounting Profit Center Accounting Internal Orders Product Costing (Material Ledger, Actual Costing, Cost Estimates) Profitability Analysis (Account-based COPA) Conduct Fit-Gap analysis and recommend improvements. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Create FDDs, test cases, training materials, and lead UAT/Go-Live. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and Indian tax laws. Support change management and end-user training. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance/Engineering; CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) preferred. 611 years of SAP CO experience. Minimum 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations. ECC to S/4HANA migration exposure: Fit-Gap, CVI, Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting. Knowledge of Universal Allocation, ACDOCA, Margin Analysis. Expertise in CO reporting, costing, and closing processes. Experience in SAP Activate Methodology and Agile/Hybrid project environments. Strong FICO integration knowledge, especially within Indian statutory frameworks.
