Position Overview At Diligent, analytics isnt just a back-office function, its the engine behind our decisions, our innovation, and our growth. We re looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our global Data & Analytics team and help power that engine. You ll work at the heart of our modern data stack, building scalable pipelines and clean, accessible datasets that enable smarter decisions across every part of the business, from product to finance to marketing and beyond. You ll report to the Senior Manager of Analytics Engineering and work closely with both analysts and business leaders, translating business needs into robust data solutions. Whether youre streamlining ETL flows, integrating AI into workflows, or fine-tuning Snowflake performance, your work will directly impact how we operate and grow. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure in Snowflake, using dbt for transformation and version control. Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to create clear, trusted datasets and views for business use in Tableau and other tools. Proactively improve existing ETL workflows and data models to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability. Embed AI technologies into data workflows, unlocking smarter, faster data processing and analytics. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues efficiently, ensuring high-quality, reliable output. Partner with BI teams to support deployment of dashboards and data visualizations that drive decision-making across the org. Contribute to a best-in-class enterprise data architecture, supporting departments including sales, finance, customer success, product, and HR. Required Experience/Skills 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, building and supporting complex data systems. Strong SQL skills and practical experience with large-scale databases. 3+ years working with Snowflake and dbt (or similar ETL tools like Alteryx). Proficiency in Python for data transformation and scripting. Experience integrating or leading AI/data automation initiatives. Familiarity with business systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, Google Analytics, and Oracle HCM. Strong background in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Comfortable working with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver impactful datasets. Detail-oriented with excellent documentation habits and problem-solving skills.
