Programming: Develop CNC programs using CAM software to meet design and production requirements. Process Optimization: Optimize machining parameters for improved cycle time, tool life, and material utilization. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure components meet dimensional and technical specifications. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues during machining processes to prevent production delays. Routine Maintenance: Perform daily and scheduled maintenance on VMC machines to ensure reliable operation. Material Monitoring: Monitor material usage and check for wear or defects to prevent quality issues. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to streamline processes and meet production goals. Equipment Care: Supervise repair needs and ensure timely servicing of machinery and tools. Preferred candidate profile - The VMC Programmer is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to produce precision components as per engineering specifications. The role ensures high-quality output through efficient machining, routine maintenance, and close coordination with production and engineering teams.
