Job description Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date records of incoming and outgoing materials. Conduct regular stock checks and prepare inventory reports. Ensure proper stacking, storage, and labeling of all materials. Minimize material wastage and ensure stock accuracy. Material Handling: Receive and inspect materials for quality and quantity as per purchase order. Record Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and issue Material Issue Slips. Ensure timely issuance of materials to various departments/teams as per site requirement. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain registers for daily material receipts, issues, and balance. Coordinate with procurement/purchase team for material replenishment. Prepare weekly/monthly stock reports for review. Coordination: Liaise with site engineers, contractors, and suppliers for smooth material flow. Follow up on pending material deliveries. Support audits and compliance with company SOPs. Compliance & Safety: Ensure store area cleanliness and safety. Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials. Adhere to company policies and statutory guidelines. Required Skills & Qualifications: B.Tech (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) Graduate (Preference for Civil/Store Management) Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in construction store management Familiarity with construction materials (cement, steel, sand, fittings, etc.) Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP (Knowledge in ERP is Mandatory ) Strong organizational and communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping Role: Store Keeper / Manager Industry Type: Engineering & Construction Department: Procurement & Supply Chain Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Stores & Material Management Education UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Key Skills Skills highlighted with ‘‘ are preferred keyskills Inventory ControlStore SupervisionStore OperationsStore KeepingStore Management
