Mainframe Development Senior

Job description Duration: 12Months Work Type: Onsite Job Description: The resource should have knowledge to identify the Mainframe data points, volume, and frequency of update, and to come-up with a design to consume the data from alternate source which is GCP Big Query. Should be able to establish the connectivity with GCP Big Query to fetch the data, create the logic to extract and transform the data, create new schema, and table structure in GCP Big Query and populate the data for SAVE Downstreams. Resource to ensure a smooth extracting of the database from GCP Big Query while ensuring the data integrity (SAVE is SOX) and post extract validation. Ensure the delivery of high-quality code through strict standards, continuous integration, development, and testing. Must be capable of developing new Mainframe solutions for various requirements, enhancements, features for existing and new applications. Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project. Transform business function requirements into technical program specifications to Code, Test and Debug programs. Knowledge of Performing performance tuning to improve the performance over multiple functions. Foster collaboration and clear communication with Product Managers, Product Owners, Anchor, Software engineers as well as Business Customers throughout the development and support of application features Skills Required: Strong technical skills in Mainframe Technologies i,e COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS-DB is must. Must have experience in Endeavor. Resource should have hands-on"Coding experience in mainframe technologies" and should be able to provide quick break fix and provide solutions. Must have hands on knowledge on SQL Database. Good understanding about Solutions Architect Framework & Security and Controls. Good knowledge of Agile Central/Rally Backlog will be a plus. Skills Preferred: Must have good communication skills, A team player with can doattitude.
