Job description Key Responsibilities - Perform manual and automated testing across OTT web, mobile, and smart TV platforms. - Execute comprehensive API testing, load testing, and functional testing. - Generate and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios. - Track development tasks and raise issues using JIRA. - Prepare and maintain QA reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) with clear documentation of issues and coverage. - Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure high product quality. - Actively contribute to the QA process by improving test frameworks and methodologies. - Leverage AI tools to optimize test planning, defect triaging, and documentation. - Ensure timely validation and sign-off during releases and sprints. Preferred Domain Knowledge (Good to Have) - Experience testing SaaS-based OTT platforms. - Understanding of In-App Purchases, Subscription models, DRM (Digital Rights Management), and Media Players. - Familiarity with analytics platforms like Google Analytics, MoEngage, Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar. - Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools. Qualifications & Skills - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (B.Tech preferred). - Strong grasp of software quality assurance practices, testing methodologies, and SDLC. - Minimum 1 years of hands-on manual testing experience. - Ability to identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - A proactive team player with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
