Job description Department: Development Reporting Authority: Manager (Development) Sub-Department: UI/UX Team (Development) Work Shift Policy: Fixed 9 Hours Shift Policy (11:00 Hrs to 20:00 Hrs) Week Off Policy: 2 Days Fixed Weekly Off (Saturday & Sunday) Job Overview: Greaves Travel India Private Limited is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer & Developer to join our digital team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in converting visual designs into responsive HTML, managing WordPress websites, and providing light PHP support. This is an excellent opportunity for a web professional passionate about design and development to contribute in a hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities: Convert design files (Figma, PSD, JPEG, etc.) into clean, responsive HTML/CSS. Customize and manage WordPress websites, including themes and plugins. Collaborate closely with designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of visuals. Optimize websites for performance, scalability, and SEO-friendliness. Edit and design images for web use when required. Handle basic PHP-based tasks for custom functionality. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent user experience across devices. Skills & Qualifications: Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript. Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS: installation, setup, theme/plugin customization. Ability to precisely convert image/design files into web-ready code. Familiarity with design and image editing tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma. Basic knowledge of PHP for content management and web functionalities. Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles. Strong attention to detail with an ability to meet project deadlines. Good to Have: Experience with WordPress page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg. Understanding of basic SEO practices and web performance tuning. Knowledge of Git or other version control systems. Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not mandatory). Minimum 5 years of professional experience in web design and development. Note: Immediate joiners preferred.
