Senior Consultant Technical (S/4 HANA Extensibility)

Job description Senior Consultant Technical (S/4 HANA Extensibility) Roles and responsibilities : Responsible for Design and implement extensibility strategies for SAP S/4HANA using SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud and classic ABAP. Develop applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). Define the right approach for extensions of S/4 HANA Standard applications, implementation and extension of customer applications considering available extensibility options, including: o In-App (Key User) o Developer (On-Stack) o Classic (Backend) o UI (Frontend) o Side-by-Side via SAP BTP Utilize the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and Cloud SDK to build cloud-native extensions. Develop and maintain solutions in the S/4 HANA and SAP BTP ABAP environments. Collaborate with consultants, architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers on technical topics. Stay current with SAP technologies and contribute to architectural discussions to enhance performance and scalability. Expected experience, skill sets and abilities : B.E. or B. Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology. 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development. Proven hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA extensibility and SAP BTP. Strong knowledge of RAP, CAP and Cloud SDK. Solid understanding of ABAP language versions and backend integration techniques. Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development and frontend extensibility. Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines in SAP landscapes. Ability to design scalable, secure and maintainable solutions.Excellent English communication along with presentation, moderation and business-partnering skills. The ability to work within a highly distributed team environment, multi-task and prioritize tasks. A performance-driven mindset, with strong work ethics and integrity. Ideally, youll also have : Experience in DevOps practices for SAP development. Exposure to clean core strategies and cloud-native application architecture. Broad understanding of business processes and applications. Knowledge of the overall BTP environment, BTP applications and integrations. The relevant SAP certification/s. Experience working in a multinational organization and/or a big consultancy. Working experience with European clients. Willingness to work partly or fully during European office hours (CET). Willingness to learn about new technologies when the need arises.
