Mechanical Design/ Drafting Engineer

Job description We are seeking a Mechanical Design/Drafting Engineer proficient in 3D modeling software, AutoCAD 2D, and mechanical engineering design terminology. You will be responsible for creating accurate 2D and 3D models, working with engineering teams, and ensuring quality and precision in your work. Responsibilities: 3D Modeling: Create detailed and accurate 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360). Develop and modify 3D models based on design specifications and engineering requirements. Ensure 3D models are optimized for manufacturing and assembly. 2D Drafting (AutoCAD): Generate detailed 2D drawings from 3D models using AutoCAD 2D. Create assembly drawings, part drawings, and other technical drawings. Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and company specifications. Mechanical Design: Apply mechanical engineering design principles and terminology to develop and modify designs. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet functional and performance requirements. Perform design calculations and analyses as needed. Contribute to design reviews.
