Chief Financial Officer

Job description Job Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive management team and will report directly to the CEO. The CFO will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for leading a team of finance, strategic planning, fund raise, commercial and legal matters, treasury operations, inorganic growth opportunities and getting the Company ready for IPO in next 2 years Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company. Lead financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team. Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Debt and Equity Fund raise Ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain robust financial systems, controls, and processes. Operational Efficiency Manage the finance and accounting teams, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Oversee financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and procurement. Optimize financial performance through cost management and efficiency improvements. Risk Management, Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies. Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and other stakeholders. Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors, investors, and other stakeholders. Lead the company's efforts in fundraising, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance activities. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Oversee tax planning and compliance activities. Maintain an effective internal control environment. Qualifications And Requirements Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. A minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in the IT, ISP or similar services companies. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models. Proficient in the use of financial management software (ERP- SAP, Odoo) In-depth understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices. Strong leadership and organizational skills, should be a self- starter, should have demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and work with tight timelines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
