Senior Solution Architect (Java)

Job description Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect (Java) with deep expertise in the BFSI sector, particularly in credit products, mutual funds, and loan origination systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modular architecture and hands-on experience building microservices-based systems. This role demands both strategic thinking and practical implementation skills to lead the design of scalable, high-performance financial platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design and architect scalable, secure, and modular Java-based solutions aligned with business goals. Lead the development of a modular loan origination system for various credit instruments using microservices architecture. Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. Define and enforce architectural best practices, coding standards, and design patterns. Ensure systems are cloud-ready, resilient, and optimized for performance. Guide and mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure technical excellence. Engage in solutioning around mutual funds, credit systems, and other BFSI domain products. Required Skills & Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and architecture. Strong experience in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and Spring Boot. Proven expertise in designing and implementing modular architectures. Deep domain knowledge of BFSI, especially in credit products, mutual funds, and loan origination systems. Understanding of scalable system design, system integration, and enterprise architecture patterns. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have: Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with security standards and compliance in BFSI systems.
