Performance Test Engineer

Job description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Performance Test Engineer with 4 years of hands-on experience in performance and load testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, stability, and performance of applications through rigorous testing methodologies, using industry-standard tools. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies for web and enterprise applications. Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter , LoadRunner , Gatling , or NeoLoad . Conduct load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing to assess system behavior under various conditions. Analyze test results and system metrics to identify bottlenecks and performance issues. Work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to resolve issues and optimize performance. Define performance benchmarks and provide actionable recommendations for system improvements. Prepare detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders. Continuously monitor and optimize performance testing processes and frameworks. Required Skills and Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4 years of hands-on experience in performance and load testing . Strong experience with one or more performance testing tools: Apache JMeter, Client LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling , etc Experience with application monitoring and profiling tools like Dynatrace , AppDynamics , New Relic , or similar. Solid understanding of web protocols (HTTP/S), APIs, client-server architecture, and network fundamentals. Ability to analyze system performance data and identify areas of concern. Experience with scripting languages (eg, Java , Groovy , Python , or JavaScript ) for custom test development. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into DevOps workflows.
