Project Engineer

Job description FIELD ENGG (Experienced) Required Skills / Work Experience * Understanding of basic Fiber optic Communication System * Experience in Nokia, Ciena, Cisco, Jio installation and communication, switching, Routing and Troubleshooting of telecom equipments. * Experience in fiber optic transmission technologies like SDH/OTN/DWDM * Strong Transmission equipment configuration and troubleshooting skills * Knowledge of using Network analysis instruments like OSA, OTDR, Ethernet /SDH/OTN testers * Knowledge of using VOA, Laser Source, Power Meter, Video Fiber Scope, VFL etc. * Strong understanding in Installation standards and Tools * Knowledge of Fiber optic patch cords, Connectors and Couplers * Knowledge to give support during installation of network elements * Flexible to work on 24x7 rotational shifts * Flexible to relocate across India as needed * Flexible to work extended hours to complete assigned task * Knowledge of Ciena Products: 6500, 6500 RLS, Waveserver Ai, Waveserver5, 6500 T-12 & T-24 * Ability to understand network design documents * Multi OEM product knowledge is an added advantage Roles & Responsibilities * Responsible to carry and maintain Installation Tools and Installation Required Materials (IRM) * Conducting site survey as per specified format and submit Site Survey Report to Project Manager * Maintain standard commissioning & Cleaning Kit * Material verification at site with respect to site BOQ * on Site Mentor for Installation teams to maintain Quality/ Workmanship * Validate IDP before installing the equipments and adhere to implement as per plan * Do prechecks before power on the device and Commission the node as per CP * Conducting Video Fiber scoping of equipment Hardware and Patch cords * Patch cord scoping, routing, testing of insertion loss and maintain all records * Conduct Link Acceptance Test wit customer and record the results * Should work with Technical Prime for support in resolving complex issues * Should work with QA Prime to resolve quality issues and get confirmation * Responsible for labeling all Patch cords, Power, Ground and LAN Cables * Coordination with customer for site acceptance and punch point clearance Please Share your Resume to below Email ID. chaithrasp@teleindianetworks.com Mob: 9353030886 Role: Switching / Router Engineering Industry Type: Telecom / ISP Department: Engineering - Hardware & Networks Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Telecom Education UG: Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication, B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication, Electrical and Electronics, ITI Certification in Any Specialization Key Skills Skills highlighted with ‘‘ are preferred keyskills CienaCiscoNokia switchingroutingInstallationSDHIPTransmissionTroubleshootingDWDM6500 RLS
