Job description Role & responsibilities Ensure proper installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments, analyzers, sensors, and automation systems (PLC/SCADA/DCS). Prepare and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and calibration plans for all instruments as per regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, MHRA, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns and malfunctions of process control instruments to minimize downtime. Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for instrument servicing, upgrades, and technical support. Participate in validation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of instruments and control systems. Support change control, CAPA implementation, and deviation management related to instrumentation. Maintain detailed documentation, calibration reports, and logs in compliance with audit requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Production, Maintenance, Projects) during new equipment commissioning or process changes. Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and GMP guidelines during all engineering activities.
