Legal Officer

Job description We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Legal Officer to join our team at Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in the BFSI industry. Roles and Responsibility Handle legal matters related to banking operations and transactions. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and vendors. Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance and risk management. Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve legal issues and disputes. Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and protect the bank's interests. Job Requirements Strong knowledge of banking laws and regulations. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in legal software and systems. Experience in handling legal cases and disputes.
