Job description Position Overview: As an SAP ABAP Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in ABAP programming to design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications tailored to meet business requirements. Collaborating closely with functional teams, you will translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring system efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities: ABAP Development: Design, code, and test custom SAP applications using ABAP programming language. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with functional consultants to gather and analyze business requirements. Technical Specifications: Develop detailed technical specifications and perform code reviews. Testing & Debugging: Conduct unit testing and support integration testing efforts. Performance Optimization: Optimize SAP applications for performance and reliability. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions and provide training as necessary. Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and resolve issues related to SAP applications. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. SAP Modules: Strong understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, HR, etc. Development Tools: Hands-on experience with ABAP Workbench, Eclipse, and SAP HANA. Enhancement Frameworks: Experience with SAP enhancement frameworks like BAdIs, User Exits. Additional Skills: Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP HANA is a plus.
