Team Member - Technical Services (Electrical)

Job description A. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Systematic maintenance approach in the electrical systems or equipment. Equipment Reliability improvement. Elimination of all losses (loss-time) time, consumables and energy. Developing and implementing plans & schedules for maintenance operations with focus on optimum utilization of manpower and material. Coordinating troubleshooting and breakdown /preventive /shutdown maintenance for curbing downtime to minimum level. Analyzing major breakdown & preventive maintenance findings and implementing corrective action plans. Calibrating equipment on a regular basis to ensure performance capacity of various equipments. Implementing and adhering all statutory requirements related to EHS applicable to the function. Champion and implement safe working in his area. Spares Planning and Management to ensure adequate stocks of spares & consumables for un-interrupted working of the machines. Develop system for Predictive maintenance. Developing PM schedules and Checklists. Implementation of Predictive and Preventive Maintenance. Adhering PM schedules. Breakdown analysis and CAPA. Develop Corrective and Preventive actions of repeated equipment failures. Coach and support teams to enable them to meet the targets. B. SKILL REQUIREMENTS The worker/employee will need to possess the following set of skills: Resource management and Results orientation. Knowledge on Electrical Maintenance activities. Breakdown trouble shooting skills and man power management. Emergency handling & Crisis management. Problem Solving attitude. Pro-active and possess analytical skills. Detail Oriented. Self-team & Contractor manpower management. Cross-functional working ability. Team Working skills - Enthusiastic/ Role understanding/ Adaptability. C. NATURE OF EXPERIENCE Experience of working in continuous process industry. Implement and adhere all statutory requirements related to EHS applicable to the function. Strong Technical knowledge of AC Drives/ Servo Control / PLC's etc. Advanced knowledge of Electrical systems / Power distribution/ Electrical Motors / Transformers etc. Ability to handle and troubleshoot maintenance related issues and carry out necessary modifications in equipment, as required. Analytical skills to identify and solve problems quickly and independently, trouble shooting, auditing SHE. Machinery Maintenance – Break down & Preventive. Experience of working in continuous process industry. Good technical knowledge of process industry equipment. Knowledge in Industrial Safety, 5S, ISO Systems. Exposure to 5S, WCM based improvement techniques and tools. Exposure to Cross functional Relationship Management. Exposure to Safety systems & standards.
