Job Title: Database Administrator Experience: 7+years Location: Oman JD : Minimum 7 years of experience On IT, 5 years of experience in Database & 3 years experience in supporting opensource databases Database PostgreSQL, Hadoop, mongo Databases, etc Architecting and implementing new Applications to integrate with New/Existing Database Server Setup. Implementing new projects related to SQL Server Best practices and security in Coordination with Security. Network & Windows Team. Providing 24*7 Production support as well on-call support for PostgreSQL Server Database Server. Coordinating with Various Technical Teams in the event of Major Incident. Configuring High-Availability Solutions like Always On, Log shipping, Mirroring, Replication & Clustering. Conducting Disaster Recovery exercises on a regular basis. Applying the latest hot fixes and security patches released by Microsoft for each quarter. Performing Database Server Installation and Upgrades as per the company standards.
