Job description Job Summary We are seeking a Digital Tester with a strong background in mobile applications and portals within the telecom industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and security of digital products by conducting comprehensive testing, automation, and validation across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities Testing & Quality Assurance Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing for mobile applications (iOS & Android) and telecom portals. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with telecom business requirements. Perform end-to-end validation ensuring seamless user experience across web and mobile platforms. Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail). Automation & Continuous Integration Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile and portal applications using tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar frameworks. Implement CI/CD pipeline integrations for automated testing and deployment workflows. Work closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure continuous testing and quick defect resolution. Telecom Domain-Specific Testing Validate billing, customer account management, authentication, and provisioning workflows in telecom platforms. Perform API testing for integrations with telecom systems (CRM, OSS/BSS, subscriber management, etc.). Ensure compliance with telecom industry regulations and security standards. User Experience & Performance Testing Conduct UI/UX testing, ensuring responsiveness, accessibility, and intuitive navigation. Perform load testing & scalability assessments using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or cloud-based testing solutions. Optimize testing strategies for network performance, latency, and real-time data processing in telecom environments. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. 3-6 years of experience in software testing within telecom, mobile apps, and portal development. Hands-on expertise with automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.). Proficiency in API testing (Postman, REST/SOAP). Strong knowledge of telecom-specific workflows (billing, CRM, subscriber management). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines & cloud testing environments. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications Experience in performance testing for telecom applications. Certification in ISTQB, Agile Testing, or Automation Tools. Understanding of network protocols & telecom security standards.
