Video Editor Intern

Description Key Responsibilities Edit raw footage into polished videos using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve Add music, sound effects, transitions, text overlays, and motion graphics Trim footage segments and assemble the sequence of the film Collaborate with the content and design teams to maintain the brands visual style Assist in repurposing long-form videos into short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc. Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, styles, and technologies Requirements Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.) Familiarity with different social media video formats and platform specifications Creative mindset and attention to detail Good sense of timing and visual storytelling Ability to take feedback and make revisions Portfolio or samples of past video editing work (even personal or academic projects) Preferred (but not required) Knowledge of basic color grading and audio editing Understanding of motion graphics and animation basics Experience with tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator Role: Editing - Other Industry Type: Advertising & Marketing (Digital Marketing) Department: Media Production & Entertainment Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Editing Education UG: Any Graduate Key Skills Skills highlighted with ‘‘ are preferred keyskills Video Editing Visual EffectsAdobe PremiereAdobe Premiere ProMotion GraphicsVideographyAdobe After EffectsFinal Cut Pro
