Test Engineer (Product Quality Assurance)

Job description -Analysis of requirement documents, mapping documents and data models to understand financial transaction flows and to identify any mismatches across requirements. Identification of comprehensive set of test scenarios covering all the transformations of source data -Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks. -Experience in Fintech and Payments application will be added advantage. - Identifying and documenting software defects and tracking them to resolution. Collaborating with software developers to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage. - Analysing test results and providing feedback to improve software quality and performance. Maintaining and updating automated test scripts to accommodate changes in software functionality. - Participating in code reviews and contributing to overall software development processes. Creating and executing manual test cases to verify software functionality, usability, and performance. - Documenting test procedures, results, and defects using bug tracking systems including Jira other tracking tools - Collaborating with software developers and business analysts to understand product requirements and user scenarios. - Conducting exploratory testing to identify defects and usability issues that may not be covered by scripted tests. Providing feedback on software quality and suggesting improvements to enhance user experience. - Participating in regression testing efforts to ensure the stability of software releases. Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve issues. - Product Tester is responsible for testing products for quality, security, and performance in accordance with company standards - Coordinate with the Internal and external stake holders on the deliverables and maintaining the tracker for the deployment. - The Product should be Tested multiple times with various scenarios in the UAT environment before releasing to Live- Providing a real picture to the stakeholders - Experience in writing test cases, test summary and reporting.
