Job description Description: Our software development team is looking for a talented web developer with strong experience in the latest web technologies to help us build our cutting-edge, next generation web and desktop applications. As part of an agile team, some of the tough challenges you’ll be sure to encounter include creating advanced, data-driven UIs for our clients using latest technologies. Our tech stack includes Visual Studio, .NET Core, C#, Python, JavaScript, HTML, FME, Jquery. TypeScript, Bootstrap. Responsibilities: • Work with technical lead, architect and UX designers to understand the use cases of our customers in order to establish requirements for products, enhancements, new features, and case studies. • Architecting and designing new and existing applications. • Developing, coding, and debugging software. • Development of automated unit and functional tests. • Product design and implementation presentations to team members and management. • Technical support of applications including direct customer support and escalated issues. • Technical advancement via self-motivated research, formal training and course work, and technical conferences. - Minimum Experience: 3-5+ years. Requirements: • BS in a STEM discipline. Preferably Computer Science or Computer Engineering, • Familiarity with modern Web UI tools and technologies: Angular, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS/SCSS/LESS, React • Strong programming skills in following languages: JavaScript and C# • Hands on experience and knowledge of relational and spatial databases (SQL Server, ESRI ArcGIS Geodatabase) • Strong skills and understanding in TypeScript and Bootstrap • Strong understanding of complex software concepts such as: Dynamic Web Applications, REST, MVC, Object oriented design and Interface design, High performance computing • Ability to write high quality source code to program features requiring completion by aggressive deadlines. • Ability to write unit-test cases and conduct functional and non-functional tests. • Willingness to learn cloud integration, including but not limited to deployment of new features/updates to cloud-hosted sites.
