Manual QA Engineer

Job description Job Description We are looking for a skilled Manual QA Engineer with 34 years of experience in web application testing to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and desktop applications by performing end-to-end testing, collaborating with stakeholders, and utilizing advanced testing tools. Responsibilities End-to-End Testing: Conduct tests across the entire software lifecycle, from development to deployment, ensuring the product functions as intended. Test Planning and Design: Develop test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications. Manual Testing: Perform manual tests to simulate user behavior and identify defects. Regression Testing: Ensure new updates or fixes do not introduce new issues. Performance Testing: Evaluate the software's speed, scalability, and reliability under different conditions. Bug Tracking and Reporting: Document defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and improve the product. Requirements Experience : 3-4 years of manual testing experience with a strong focus on web and desktop applications. Technical Proficiency : Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Postman and SmartBear . Tools : Proficient in using the Atlassian Stack , particularly Jira , for bug tracking and project management. Strong understanding of HTTP protocols and API testing. Skills : Attention to detail with excellent analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
