Job description Join us as a Quality Analyst This is an opportunity for a driven individual to take on an exciting new career challenge You ll be able to build and maintain a wide network of stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority It s a chance to have a tangible effect on our function, put your existing skills to the test and advance your career Were offering this role at senior analyst level What youll do As a Quality Analyst, youll make sure that only well designed and built work packages get through quality testing, and that the test plans are adequately covered by test scenarios. Youll automate repetitive tests where appropriate to eliminate wasted effort, cost and risk of manual error. You ll train and knowledge share, and be the quality conscience of the team, assisting them to write and maintain automated tests as a standard way of working. You ll also: Choose the right set of tools to help the testing and reuse existing tooling, adopting Quality centre of excellence tools where appropriate Work in conjunction with quality automation specialists in writing automated tests and analyse the results of the automated tests Execute tests on a continuous basis triggered automatically by change events Minimise the execution time for the automated tests in order to obtain quick feedback Provide metrics to the business and the team that focus on quality and quality improvement The skills youll need Youll need an understanding of our current organisation change framework, and proven application of testing methodologies, including a range of Agile testing methods such as test driven development and behaviour driven development. You should also have proven application of a wide range of testing automation tooling, and practical experience of testing ideas, products, designs, planning and execution. You ll also need: Hands on experience in UI Path RPA Automation tool along with Credit Cards Domain Knowledge is an added Advantage Should possess good knowledge in Automation frameworks like Test NG, Cucumber, Keyword Driven and Hybrid Should have hands on Experience in Mainframe tools like CA-View, CA7, File AID, JCL, DB2, SQL, CICS, TSYS TS2 , Web & Desktop applications Experience in functional and non-functional testing such as system, system integration, user, load, volume, stress, security, accessibility, compatibility, penetration and back-out Experience of delivering testing activities in a technology or IT function Demonstrable knowledge of Agile methodologies with experience of working in an Agile team Role: Test Analyst Industry Type: Banking Department: Engineering - Software & QA Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Quality Assurance and Testing Education UG: Any Graduate PG: Any Postgraduate Key Skills AutomationJCLPenetrationDb2CicsFunctional testingSystem integrationAgileTest scenariosSQL
