Quality Assurance Engineer - Appium / Selenium

Job description We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software QA Engineer to join our team. The role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive automated & manual testing. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, identify and resolve issues, and contribute to improving our testing processes. Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain the roadmap and architecture of test automation and test suites for software products. - Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Identify, document, and track software defects, working with developers to resolve them. - Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency. - Manual exploratory testing where automation is not feasible. Requirements : - 3-5 years of experience in software testing and automation. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Knowledge of SQL. - Experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium, and BrowserStack. - Knowledge of different types of testing and their scope and characteristics, including smoke tests, API testing, UI testing, and penetration testing - Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and modern CI/CD practices. - Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
