Jr. QA Tester

Job description Job Description Qualification: Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field Testing Fundamentals: Functional, regression, integration, and system testing. UI/UX testing, cross-browser testing, and mobile testing. Test case creation, execution, and defect reporting. Tools: JIRA/Click-up/ASANA or any other task management tools experience. Experience with Bugzilla, Trello, Postman (API testing), Selenium (Automation), Cypress (Automation), Playwright (Automation), JMeter (Performance) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework Ability to log defects and track their resolution Good communication & teamwork skills Job Responsibilities Analyze project requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications Identify and report defects in the bug tracking system Perform functional testing to verify that software meets business requirements Conduct UI/UX testing to ensure consistency and responsiveness across devices Verify cross-browser compatibility on different browsers Conduct regression testing after fixes and new feature implementations Perform integration testing to validate data flow between different modules Identify, document, and prioritize defects using JIRA or similar tools Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects Retest fixes to ensure successful resolution of reported issues Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure software quality Provide clear and detailed bug reports with steps to reproduce issues Participate in daily stand-up meetings and Agile Sprint discussions Maintain proper test documentation , including test cases, test reports, and defect logs Provide regular updates on testing progress and quality status Role: Manual Test Engineer Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: Engineering - Software & QA Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Quality Assurance and Testing Education UG: Any Graduate PG: Any Postgraduate Key Skills trellosystem testingbugzillagui testingui ux testingjmetercypresssoftware development life cycledefect reportinguipostmanseleniumqa testingmobile testingscrumapi testingsdlcagile methodologycommunication skillsjira
