Section Head - Operational Planning

Job description 1. Ensure In-Time Procurement of Materials Plan raw materials and packing materials in line with sales and production forecasts. Maintain safety stocks to ensure high levels of service. Review and execute actions in response to changes in demand and market dynamics. 2. Optimize Inventory for Working Capital Minimization While Ensuring Continuity of Production Work closely with the Sales team to plan safety stocks for monopoly raw materials based on a six-month consumption plan. Plan inventory levels for each raw material in line with forecasts. Align raw material inventories with finished goods inventories and the sales plan to derive a raw material procurement plan. Review the raw material arrival plan to avoid any stockouts due to demand fluctuations or lead time variability. Control inventories to avoid obsolescence due to aging. Salvage or trade slow-moving materials, if any. 3. Production Planning Interact with production and logistics teams in India and Thailand to achieve targeted OTIF (On Time In Full). Plan day-wise production schedules in line with raw material arrivals and customer delivery commitments, while considering the following constraints: a) Minimization of grade changeovers b) Suitability of equipment for particular grades and specifications c) Management of conflicting priorities d) Storage constraints e) Delivery commitments f) Raw material availability for specific grades g) Manpower productivity 4. New Product Introduction Work jointly with R&D, Procurement, and Scale-Up teams to ensure timely introduction of new products.
