Job description Location : Remote / Onsite (Client-Based), hyderabad,ahmedabad,pune,chennai,kolkata. Job Type : Contract (6-12 months, extendable) Job Summary : The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP ABAP solutions, including Fiori and Gateway development. This role requires expertise in object-oriented ABAP, technical specifications, and performance tuning, with the ability to multitask across multiple projects while ensuring seamless integration and system performance. Key Responsibilities : - Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying and resolving application issues. - Develop technical specifications and translate business requirements into high-quality SAP ABAP solutions. - Work on SAP Fiori and Gateway development, ensuring smooth integration with SAP systems. - Perform coding, debugging, testing (unit/system/integration), and performance tuning. - Conduct performance optimization and ensure SAP scalability, availability, and archiving meet SLA requirements. - Work closely with functional teams, architects, and business analysts to deliver efficient solutions. - Provide on-call operational support and manage system changes effectively. - Mentor and coach junior developers, ensuring knowledge-sharing and best practices. - Follow Agile methodologies and ServiceNow ticketing system for project execution. Qualifications & Skills : - 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development. - Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills in SAP ABAP. - 1+ year of SAP Fiori development experience (mandatory). - Hands-on experience in SAP Gateway development and integration. - Strong communication, analytical, and technical documentation skills. - Experience in Retail industry, SAP HCP, or Java development is a plus. - Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously. - Experience working with Agile methodologies and ServiceNow for support management. Education : - BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
