Responsibilities:Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the development team to define the test strategy and plan for automated testing Test Script Development: Create automated test scripts using appropriate tools and programming languages Test Execution: Execute automated tests to verify the functionality, performance, and stability of software applications Test Maintenance: Maintain and update automated test suites to accommodate changes in the software under test Defect Tracking: Identify, report, and track defects in collaboration with the development team Test Reporting: Generate test reports and communicate test results to stakeholders Skills:Programming: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript is essential for developing automated test scripts Test Automation Tools/Frameworks: Familiarity with popular automation tools/frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Robot Framework Test Management Tools: Experience working with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or HP ALM to track test cases, manage test execution, and report defects Version Control Systems: Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN for managing test code repositories Test Design and Execution: Strong understanding of test design techniques, test case creation, and test execution processes Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex scenarios, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions Role: Technical Lead Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: Engineering - Software & QA Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Software Development Education UG: Any Graduate PG: Any Postgraduate Key Skills Automation testing
