Job description Role & responsibilities Manage and coordinate all dispatch, logistics, and warehouse operations at the factory. Oversee inventory control, material handling, and shipment scheduling to ensure timely delivery. Work closely with the production team to align manufacturing output with shipping and delivery timelines. Optimize transportation and logistics strategies to minimize cost and maximize efficiency. Lead and supervise factory floor staff and dispatch teams, ensuring productivity and safety standards. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to shipping, receiving, and inventory. Implement and improve SOPs for logistics and operations workflows. Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transport agencies to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Resolve any issues related to delays, logistics errors, or transportation bottlenecks. Key Skills Logistics & Supply Chain Management Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics processes including inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing, and inventory control. Dispatch Coordination Proven ability to manage dispatch schedules, vehicle routing, and on-time delivery performance. Factory & Production Operations Experience coordinating logistics with manufacturing timelines and production planning. Inventory Management – Hands-on experience with stock control systems, warehouse layout optimization, and cycle counting. Leadership & Team Management – Strong leadership skills to manage dispatch staff, warehouse workers, and collaborate with production teams. Problem-Solving – Quick decision-making in high-pressure scenarios such as delivery delays, material shortages, or operational breakdowns. ERP & Logistics Software Proficiency – Familiarity with tools like Tally, Zoho or industry-specific ERP systems for tracking logistics and inventory. Vendor & Transport Coordination – Ability to negotiate, liaise, and maintain relationships with logistics partners and third-party vendors. Cost Optimization – Skills in reducing transportation and storage costs without compromising efficiency or quality. Communication & Reporting – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with experience in preparing operational reports and dashboards.
