Java Developer

Job description Job Overview: Designs/develops software solutions requiring general domain knowledge and developing business experience. Analyzes user requirements/needs and makes decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust backend solutions using Java Spring Boot. Write and execute unit tests with good code coverage. Utilize AWS services, including Containers, OpenAPI, API Gateway, IAM, and OIDC. Design and develop SOA/microservices architecture. Design and implement user interfaces with Angular V18, creating single-page applications (SPA). Collaborate with the team to implement treatment algorithms into applications. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to good coding practices and Agile methodologies. Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support. Use tools like JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint for project management and collaboration. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field. 5 to 8 years of proven work experience as a Backend Developer. Extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate, Maven/Gradle, Unit Testing, and Microservices. Strong command of design patterns and SOLID principles. Proficiency in documenting APIs using the OpenAPI standard. Experience in test-driven development with Junit and Mockito. Knowledge of Spark (EMR/Databricks) and AWS services. Familiarity with containers, API Gateway, IAM, and OIDC. Understanding of SOA/microservices architecture. Proficiency with software development tools, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines. Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
