Job description Job Title: Software Test Engineer Location : Bangalore Experience : 2-3 Years Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in both functional testing and test automation. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through thorough testing and proactive quality measures. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and create effective test strategies. Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution. Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Ensure test coverage and maintain high quality of releases. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2-3 years of hands-on experience in automation and functional testing. Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes. Experience in using tools like JIRA, TestRail, Jenkins, Git. Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
