Import Documentation Executive

Job description Role & responsibilities 1) Resolving critical issues with the customers/overseas suppliers 2) Co-ordinating with Importers, Exporters, S/Line, Transporters, Operations Staff 3) Answering the queries of the customers and updating them the status of their shipment 4) Monitoring the daily E-mails & communications with both internally & externally customers in order make sure the circle of Information is going on professionally and in a timely manner. 5) Tracking of Shipments, and ensuring timely clearance of Cargo 6) Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from time of purchase order issuance through the delivery of the cargo 7) Manage all import documentation in coordination with foreign suppliers 8) Ensure timely delivery of documents by maintaining good communication with both buyers and sellers 9) Coordinate with shipping companies, logistics team, customs & CHA team and other third-party service providers to ensure smooth operations of imports. 10) Job profile will also include payment follow-up with customers 11) Preparing Sales Contracts Preferred candidate profile Exports & Imports Experience is required Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business Excellent written and oral communication skills Good leadership and management skills 2-5years of minimum experience in imports Perks and benefits Role: Export / Import Executive Industry Type: Import & Export Department: Procurement & Supply Chain Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Import & Export Education UG: Diploma in Export/Import, Any Graduate, B.Com in Any Specialization Key Skills Skills highlighted with ‘‘ are preferred keyskills Import OperationsImport Documentation ImportAfter Sales SupportImport ManagementSales Coordinationcommunication skills
