Senior Executive - Procurement

Job description Qualification / Experience: Graduate with MBA/PG Diploma in Management/PG Diploma in Material Management (preferably engineering graduate). Thorough knowledge in public procurement preferably worked for any Govt./Semi Govt./PSU/Autonomous Organization or any reputed firms. 12+ years of experience in Procurement ( 5 years of relevant exp. in public procurement) Expertise in both Gem & other than Gem procurements Experience details and skill set required: Thorough knowledge of Procurement of Goods/Services on GeM Portal, as per policy and guidelines. Preparation of tender & contract documents for the works like civil & utility works/services etc and also for procurement of imported equipments (if any). Thorough knowledge of floating of tender on CPPP Portal. Developing suppliers/vendors, Coordinating with internal teams regarding their needs. Developing and implementing purchasing strategies. Managing daily purchasing activities. Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc. Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation. Coordinating with stores to determine and manage stores needs. Monitor/Maintaining of costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation. Keeping abreast with all organizational changes and developments including policies & regulations by Govt/Authorities. Desirables: Preparation of draft tender documents, floating/publishing tender, conducting pre bid meetings, Bid opening, Preparation of draft technical and financial reports, preparation of draft work orders (all above includes procurement for both GEM & non GEM as per Govt guidelines) & Liaison within departments.
