Job description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Manufacturing to join our Operations Department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing our production and operations teams, ensuring that all manufacturing lines operate at full capacity with maximum efficiency. This position offers potential for growth, with the possibility of assuming a larger role in the future, based on performance. Requirements Key Responsibilities Oversee and optimize all manufacturing operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity Lead and manage production and operations teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement Develop and implement strategies to increase manufacturing capacity and throughput Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to streamline operations Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to enhance operational efficiency Manage budgets and resource allocation for the manufacturing department Drive innovation in manufacturing processes and technologies Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders Participate in long-term strategic planning for manufacturing operations Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related field (Master s degree preferred) Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing facility, with at least 5 years in a senior management role Proven track record of improving manufacturing efficiency and productivity Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies About the Company Dalmia Polypro is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization operating in the sustainability sector with a specific focus on plastic recycling.
