Civil Store Keeper

Job description Civil Store Keeper's responsibilities encompass managing materials at a construction site, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring proper stock control. They are also responsible for documentation, reporting on discrepancies, and coordinating with project managers and suppliers. Role & responsibilities Material Handling:Receiving, storing, and issuing materials, ensuring secure storage and proper stacking. Inventory Management:Maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels, and ensuring timely availability of required items. Documentation:Keeping records of receipts, withdrawals, and discrepancies, and reporting on losses or damages. Stock Control:Ensuring proper stock rotation, managing surpluses, and initiating purchase requisitions when needed. Coordination:Coordinating with project managers, procurement teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth material flow. Safety and Compliance:Maintaining a clean and safe storage environment, adhering to safety guidelines, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Discrepancy Resolution:Investigating and resolving discrepancies between received materials and purchase orders.
