Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle MySQL, and NoSQL databases, with a strong background in database performance tuning, architecture, and lifecycle management within modern cloud environments. Experience : 8+ Years Location: Bangalore Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, NoSQL). Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and execution plans for performance efficiency. Manage database architecture, including backup and recovery strategies, high availability, and disaster recovery. Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and data engineers to implement CI/CD practices in database deployments. Monitor database performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure system stability and security. Manage schema versioning, database migrations, and change control processes. Implement data integration pipelines using tools such as AWS Glue and Apache Airflow . Support data modelling and relational design for analytical and operational use cases. Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy standards. Required Skills: Education: Bachelors or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience as a DBA or i n a database engineering role. Technical Skills: Strong command of PostgreSQL , SQL Server , Oracle MySQL , and NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience with AWS database services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, etc.). Solid knowledge of SQL query optimization , execution plans , and indexing . Proficiency in backup and recovery , monitoring tools , and troubleshooting database issues.
