Job description Product Specialist - Diagnostics Department : Technical Support & Analytics (BP49450) Job Overview UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. We are looking for a professional with a passion to solve complex customer problems on trucks to support uptime. This position is organized within Quality Assurance department in Bangalore As the product specialist You will be responsible to provide technical support and solutions to enhance customer uptime in the area of Electrical ,Electronics, Telematics & Diagnostics . You will take lead in securing that our vehicles are fully operational back on the road at the earliest; assure that we get a deeper and better understanding of how our products are used and bring this feedback back to engineering teams within product development. This work is done in close cooperation with dealers, product development , aftersales and other cross functional teams . Responsibilities and Duties Provide agile technical support to solve customer issues arising at dealerships Provide quick containment solutions to support uptime Contribute in the relevant product quality forums by actively reporting upcoming quality issues and other product problems Communicate product demands, directed towards new products and projects Participate & perform method study towards maintainability & serviceability of truck Build network with Importers and Market companies Initiate, Prepare & Release Service Literature for quality issues Prepare & drive actionable items from Diagnostic analytics Strive to contribute to the continual improvement of existing processes & systems Minimum qualifications Bachelor Degree in Engineering ( Mechanical \ Electronics \ Mechatronics \ Automobile ) 5-10 years of experience in automotive design/service domain Hands on experience in diagnostics development, testing & troubleshooting Good understanding of truck usage , its applications & market knowledge Good analytical & prioritization skills with result oriented structured approach Communication skills : Fluent in English (both written & spoken) Teamwork : Building co-operation among individuals, departments, sharing information and resources and working to achieve group goals Customer first mindset : Understanding customer needs and addressing them at right quality & speed Courage : being courageous to experiment and taking calculated risks to support uptime of trucks Ability to work in multicultural environment is a must About UD Trucks Part of the Isuzu group, UD Trucks is a global leading international commercial vehicle solutions provider headquartered in Japan.
