Job description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Product Photographer with a strong eye for aesthetics and lighting, specifically for jewelry and gemstones. The role involves capturing high-quality images that highlight the craftsmanship, sparkle, and intricate details of each piece for our online platforms including our website, marketplaces like Etsy and Amazon, and social media channels. Key Responsibilities: Photograph a wide range of jewelry and gemstones including rings, necklaces, earrings, and loose stones for e-commerce listings. Use specialized lighting and macro photography techniques to capture clarity, sparkle, and color accurately. Edit and retouch images for dust removal, background cleanup, and true-to-life color representation using Photoshop and Lightroom. Work with the e-commerce and design teams to ensure consistent visual presentation across platforms. Manage studio setup, lighting, props, and reflective surfaces suitable for jewelry shoots. Maintain a well-organized digital asset library with accurate product labeling and categorization. Keep up with the latest trends in jewelry photography and e-commerce visual standards. Requirements: Proven experience in jewelry or gemstone photography (portfolio required). Proficiency in using DSLR/mirrorless cameras, macro lenses, and lighting equipment. Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar photo editing tools. Strong attention to detail, especially in capturing small, reflective, and color-sensitive items. Ability to shoot both white-background product images and creative/lifestyle compositions. Understanding of e-commerce image requirements and optimization. Preferred Qualifications: Diploma or certification in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field. Experience with 360-degree jewelry photography or video creation is a plus. Familiarity with online marketplaces' image guidelines (Amazon, Etsy, etc.). Basic knowledge of gemstones and precious metals is an added advantage.
