Job description Job Role: Area Supervisor - Vehicle Assembly Qualification: Diploma (Mechanical / Automobile / Production) Level - JE/ER/SE Experience - 3 yrs to 8 yrs Preferred past experience: Vehicle Assembly Line: JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY 1. Ensure Safety of workplace, adherence to safety PPE, standards and rules. 2. Ensure Operation procedure of work place as per standards and prevent outflow of defects 3. Ensure achievement of area KPI (Safety, Quality, Production and Cost) 4. Manpower planning and management 5. Training of new manpower as per standard 6. Maintain and improve 5S of workplace 7. Process audit 8. Monitoring of defects, analysis and information to responsible departments 9. Ensure discipline of manpower and adherence to organization rules. 10. Conflict resolution and IR issues management 11. Counselling, mentoring and resolution of issues of manpower 12. Knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 / 45001 (Environment, health and Safety) related standards and ensure the same. 13. Preferred skills: MS Excel , PowerPoint, Good communication skills in Hindi and English, QC Tools, Problem solving etc Behavioral: 1. To work in shift rotation (A/B). 2. To work on line (standing job for 8 hours). 3. Willing to work on physical job. 4. To supervise, supervised by and work along with male manpower. 5. To work in high production areas as per defined timelines and meet the defined targets. 6. Communication skills. 7. Team player.
