Supervisor-Cylinder Head

Job description Division= Plant - Kharkhoda Powertrain Department-Machine Shop Kharkhoda Job Location-Kharkhoda Job Title-Supervisor Job Role-Responsible for manufacturing in-house (Cylinder Head) engine components within specified quality standards. Will be responsible to meet organizational targets in terms of safety, productivity, quality and cost in a mass production setup. Reporting To-Department head Level in the organization-Junior Engineer/ Engineer Educational Qualification-Diploma (Mechanical) Any Other (Certification / Diploma etc.):- "CNC programming of VMC, HMC. Process knowledge of Aluminum machining components." Job Responsibilities 1. Meeting daily production targets as per production plan within specified quality parameters under safe working environment. 2. Proactive in continuous improvements in line for achieving high efficiency targets with zero-defect quality. 3. Coordinate with Maintenance for elimination of breakdowns through continuous improvements. 4. Upkeep of Jigs, Fixtures, Centers, Chucks, Cutting tools, Grinding Wheels and Gauges. 5. Ensure smooth relation with peers and subordinates. 6. Performing ISO related activities. Competencies / Skills 1. He should have hands-on experience of CNC HMC, VMC, leak tests, washing machines of Transmission Case machining. 2. He should have hands-on knowledge of CNC programming of HMC VMC. 3. He should have hands-on knowledge of working repairs of Jigs, Fixtures, Centers, Chucks, Cutting tools, Grinding Wheels and Gauges. 4. He should have hands-on knowledge of chuck functioning/repair/ correction, tool change, tool setting, machine accuracy setting, alignment setting component accuracy setting. 5. He should have knowledge of model change in machines. 6. He should have knowledge of Kaizen, Poka Yoke, QC tools, SQC. 7. He should have knowledge of machine maintenance process maintenance. 8. He should be able to take countermeasures for process maintenance breakdowns. 9. He should have working knowledge of ISO (Quality Safety) . 10. He should have good soft skill, shop floor management skills. He should have experience of handling a team at shop floor. 11. Analytical thinking Strong execution orientation and problem solving approach.
