Job description Background Educational Qualification Essential: B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical/ Production Engg / Electrical. Minimum 60 % marks Desirable: M.Tech in Mechanical/ Automobile Minimum 70 % marks Role: Design Development of Fuel Tank (metal and plastic), Roll over valve, Fuel Hoses and Filler Neck. Design Development of CNG filling and storage system Filler Neck (Metal/plastic), Fuel Joints, Filler Cap. Parts Vehicle level testing Responsibilities: Design Development of Fuel Tank and Filling system parts as per program schedule. Parts Vehicle level testing as per program schedule. Regulation Checks. Cost Weight monitoring at Part Sub-System level. Quality problem resolution: Countermeasure planning, based on Design/ Quality Reviews, Line Feedback Testing. Coordination with business partners for development of parts. Advanced engineering projects, Localization VAVE Study industry trends (global and domestic) and apply it in work-area Technical/ Functional: Experience of Design or Development in at-least one domain areas in any of the following: - Fuel Tank Storage - Fuel Filling Area - Alternate liquid and gaseous fuel Understanding of Manufacturing processes and Costing Functions. Hands on experience in testing and benchmarking at part vehicle level. Problem Solving skill: Experience of engineering tools like DFMEA and Root Cause analysis etc. Behavioral Positive attitude Proactive nature Effective team player Good communication, analytical and presentation skills Learning attitude and quick learner Specific expertise required for functional area: Hands on experience on CAD Modeling software for 2D and 3D preparation, preferably Unigraphics(UG-Nx).
