Job description Job Description: Senior Engineer, Cloud Platform Who are we About Saks Technology: Roles and Responsibilities: AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Engineering Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Infrastructure Automation Infrastructure as Code with GitOps principles, based on need. Tech Stack: AWS - IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda functions, VPC, Load Balancer Java OR Python OR any other programming language (hands on experience needed) CI/CD: CircleCI or Jenkins or GitHub Actions GitOps workflows Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (good to have) Container Orchestration (good to have): Kubernetes ArgoCD (GitOps deployment) Monitoring Observability (good to have): Datadog Custom dashboards and alerts Automation (good to have): Slack API integration Bot development Key Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Information Science preferred). Strong academic record, excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4 to 6 years of experience, with at least 1 year hands on coding experience in some form. Commercial experience of using version control tooling (GIT) in a large development team performing. Debugging and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with tools like Jenkins/Circle CI, Jira, GitHub and with eCommerce frameworks. Open to writing code and exploring new tools and technologies.
