Job description Skills and requirements Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn for data manipulation and visualization. Understanding of core machine learning algorithms, including linear/logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, SVM, KNN, K-Means, and neural networks. Experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch for building and training models. Ability to preprocess data, including handling missing values, normalization, encoding categorical variables, and feature engineering. Knowledge of model evaluation techniques such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, confusion matrix, and cross-validation. Mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and basic calculus to understand and fine-tune models. Version control skills using Git/GitHub and familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks or similar development environments. Basic understanding of deep learning, computer vision, or NLP concepts (optional but preferred).
