Automation Testing with Java-Selenium - Mentor

Job description Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Automation Testing Mentor with expertise in Java and Selenium to guide and mentor learners through practical and advanced automation testing concepts. You will lead live training sessions, hands-on workshops, and provide expert code reviews to help learners master test automation frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD integration. You will ensure learners understand the full automation testing lifecycle, from test case design and execution to reporting and debugging, while aligning content with real-world industry standards and tools. Key Responsibilities: Mentor learners on automation testing fundamentals using Java and Selenium WebDriver. Conduct live sessions, practical coding labs, and project mentoring focused on building robust test automation frameworks. Guide learners through script development, test execution, and integration with CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Review and provide detailed feedback on automation scripts and project deliverables. Assist learners with troubleshooting, debugging, and best practices for maintainable automation code. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years of combined professional experience in industry projects and corporate training. Proven Industry Experience in contributing to automation testing with Java and Selenium WebDriver in real-world projects. Experience in corporate training or mentoring on automation testing is a plus. Strong knowledge of Java programming, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit frameworks, and Maven/Gradle build tools. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker. Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber is a plus. Solid understanding of test automation strategies, scripting best practices, and debugging techniques. Excellent communication and mentoring skills to support learners effectively. Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) or API testing (e.g., REST Assured). Certifications in Selenium, Java, or related test automation technologies.
