IB Biology Teacher

Job description Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging IB Biology lessons that meet the IB curriculum requirements for both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL). Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that promote inquiry, understanding, and application of biological concepts. Facilitate laboratory experiments and practical activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. Support students in their Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE) related to Biology. Prepare students for IB exams, including practice tests and exam strategies. Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in IB curriculum development and review. Attend faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and IB training workshops. Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
