Dubbing Director

Job description We are looking for a dynamic Dubbing Director to lead creative dubbing projects across theatrical and OTT content at Audiomagick. You will collaborate with voice artists, writers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure every dubbed product is culturally authentic, emotionally powerful and technically sound. Job Title: Dubbing Director Location: Goregaon, Mumbai Job Type: Full-Time Work Timing: 10 AM 7 PM Working days: Monday to Saturday (1st, 3rd Saturday & all Sundays off) Your Key Responsibilities: Oversee Voice Recording: Manage the dubbing and voice recording process to ensure high-quality, emotionally resonant performances that match the characters actions, tone, and intent. Cast Voice Actors: Identify, audition, and finalize voice artists best suited for animated and live-action characters, maintaining alignment with the creative vision. Schedule Recording Sessions: Organize and manage recording sessions by coordinating with artists and production teams to meet project timelines. Guide Voice Actors: Help voice actors understand the nuances of their characters and deliver performances that match the original script's intent. Coordinate with Production Teams: Work closely with the animation, scripting, translation, sound engineering, and QA teams to ensure seamless synchronization of visuals and audio. Review & Approve Audio Tracks: Conduct final reviews of dubbed audio to ensure quality standards, narrative integrity, and emotional impact are maintained. Stay Updated Technically: Keep abreast of new trends, tools, and technologies in dubbing, voice direction, and post-production to continuously enhance output quality. Qualifications & Skills: A strong understanding of storytelling, character arcs, and the dubbing process. Ability to effectively direct and collaborate with voice actors. Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi. Familiarity with basic recording software and an understanding of sound engineering fundamentals. Background from institutes like FTII or Whistling Woods is a strong plus. We strongly encourage female candidates to apply.
