Transformer Production Head

Job description Key Responsibilities 1. Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all production activities to ensure efficient and timely. production of transformers Develop and implement production schedules while maintaining quality and output targets. Optimize the use of resources, materials, and manpower to minimize wastage and reduce costs. 2. Team Leadership: Manage, lead, and motivate the production team to meet organizational goals. Conduct training and skill development programs for the production workforce. 3. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with the quality control team to address defects and implement corrective measures. 4. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Incorporate Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices to improve efficiency. 5. Inventory and Materials Management: Monitor and manage raw materials and inventory to avoid production delays. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for the timely availability of materials. 6. Compliance and Safety: Maintain compliance with all relevant industry standards and certifications. Ensure workplace safety by implementing proper health and safety protocols. 7. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management. Analyse production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Role & responsibilities Qualifications and Skills Education: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in transformer manufacturing or heavy electrical equipment production, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. Also the candidate must have experience in Electrical Designing. Skills: Strong understanding of transformer manufacturing processes. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficient in production planning software and tools. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methodologies.
