Job description Key Responsibilities: System Administration Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based servers and desktops. Create, configure, and manage AWS resources such as EC2, AMIs, and S3 buckets. Provision and manage Microsoft 365 tenants and user accounts. Host web applications on IIS and Nginx, including SSL certificate installation and renewal. Network Administration Design, build, and maintain local and cloud-based network infrastructure. Configure DNS records, subdomains, routers, switches, and wireless access points. Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring high availability and performance. Implement and manage network security using firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control policies. Cloud & Azure Infrastructure Manage Microsoft Azure cloud environment including VMs, storage accounts, and networking. Administer Azure Active Directory and automate tasks using scripting or Azure tools. Monitor and optimize Azure services for cost and performance. Stay up to date with new Azure features and implement improvements. Database & Vendor Management Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Sybase databases. Provide secure remote access to development teams for database systems. Handle IT asset procurement, Microsoft licenses, and third-party vendor coordination. Documentation & Compliance Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations. Follow IT policies, data protection, and security standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: 35 years of proven experience in system and network administration. Strong knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy). Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure components. Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments. Familiarity with IIS, Nginx, and SSL configuration. Database experience with MS SQL, MySQL, and/or Sybase. Experience in vendor management and IT asset procurement. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
