Maintenance Incharge

Job description Role & responsibilities 1. Machine & Equipment Maintenance Conduct daily inspections of machines and identify potential issues. Plan and execute preventive and overhaul maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults to ensure uninterrupted operations. Maintain detailed machine logs and update equipment files regularly. Manage repair, installation, shifting, and fabrication of heavy equipment. 2. Reporting & Planning Prepare and maintain daily maintenance reports, weekly plans, and maintenance budgets. Develop maintenance policies and procedures in alignment with company standards. Maintain records as per ISO and other regulatory requirements. 3. Inventory & Subcontractor Management Manage inventory of critical spare parts to ensure availability and cost control. Coordinate and supervise subcontracted services such as machining, rewinding, and re-metaling. Monitor quality and timelines of outsourced maintenance tasks. 4. Team Leadership & Training Supervise and delegate tasks to the in-house maintenance team and contractors. Conduct training for maintenance staff and workers on best practices and safety protocols. Evaluate team performance and promote skill development. 5. Safety, Energy & Estate Management Organize and implement machine safety improvements and energy efficiency plans. Oversee estate maintenance activities related to water, electricity, instrumentation, and mechanical systems. Support heavy material handling and fabrication/welding work as needed.
